Transit: “We are being told that the BRT is supposed to be a small part of the much larger plan. However, unfortunately, the BRT is not small at all and there is no viable larger plan! The BRT is a very bad idea in every possible way: The BRT map is too basic and inefficient. The budget is just too small for this plan. There is inflation and also because of that minimum wages and material costs will be higher in the future. Also the timeline is just unreasonably long: Minimum 8 years, starting in 2021! The BRT will most likely take 10-12 years and it may never be complete unless more money is raised, for example if the property taxes are raised!” [1]

Social Housing: ” Shifting from survival mode to thriving mode. Improving all social services, including an increase in affordable housing. Prioritize funding by helping those who need it most. Work towards developing solutions to reducing poverty, crime and rehabilitation for those with drug addiction. Sustainable solutions for those with the biggest needs including Homeless people, Disabled, and people with mental health issues.” [2]

Business Climate: “Create favourable conditions for everyone including investors (national and international) to come here, invest here, and stay here. Help and encourage graduate students from our colleges and universities find jobs easier and stay here. Attract foreign investment/investors. Encourage new businesses and help small businesses. Take advantage of our natural resources.” [3]
